Comptrollers Office Continues To Find Your Lost Money, Search For “Chabad” Has 54 Hits

Searching the name “Chabad” on the New York Comptroller’s website, where lost money is stored for New Yorkers to come look for it, brings up a startling 54 entries, while “Lubavitch” brings up ten.

According to the New York State Comptroller’s office, they are holding $18.4 Billion in lost money, some of which may be yours.

Looking up Chabad sounding names or Lubavitch organizations bring up a staggering number of results, as does other well known organizations. Chevra Hatzalah of New York City, Rockland County, and even Chevra Ahavas Yisroel come up when you search the word “Chevra”, with the name “Mendel” bringing up 41 results.
