BH Its been busy at Yeshiva Darchai Menachem. Every night of Chanukah another drawing with exciting programs have taken place. On Sunday, the first night of Chanukah Darchai Menachem had a menorah competition like never before. CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Eleven boys sit poised in a brightly-painted third floor classroom at Yeshiva Darchai Menachem, in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York. The atmosphere in the room has the feeling of a quiz show. Their teacher, Rabbi Shua Samuels, barely has a chance to get his questions out, before hands wave eagerly in the air, 11 preteen boys desperate to demonstrate their knowledge.

The Darchai Menachem School which opened up a few years ago in Crown Heights quickly became famous for its high quality education with very specific and individual attention. Not for no reason is the school commonly referred to by residents as one of the best Moisdos in Crown Heights.
“One of the things that set Darchai Menachem apart from other schools is the small classes with 10 children, something that gives the teachers the possibility to give much more individual attention to each students need and creates a comfortable atmosphere in between students” said the principle R. Ayal Ben-Tzion
Students and parents joined together at Darchai Menachem to attend Simchas Beis Hashueva. Lively music was played by staff and students while they enjoyed a cool fire show and food!

Dear CrownHeights.info
Hi my name is Mendy Chaimson and I am 11 years old. Sitting next to me is my friend Levi Schonbuch, he is 10. We are both the co-directors of the Yeshiva Darchai Menachem Chesed Club. B”H now that our school has grown from 30 to 50 students, we have a lot more Volunteers for our club.
We were wondering if you can post our Chesed reports on your web site, this way we can expand our volunteer list. For example, let me tell you what we did in honor of Sukkos. On Monday, the first day of Chol Hamoed, some of our boys from the new Mesivta Division, headed by Rabbi Marozov, along with their friends went on route. They took a Sukkah mobile with their Chassidus teacher, Rabbi Sandhaus, and shook Lulav and Esrog with over 65 people; it was an unbelievable experience meeting all sorts of different people. On Tuesday, my friends and I went with Rabbi Perl, the school administrator, to an old age home. Not only did we have the Mitzvah of Bikur Cholim, we also got to shake our Lulavim and Esrogim with them. It was a lot of fun and the people were very happy.

At 8:00pm on Motzoai Shabbos, the Rosa Hall in Bais Rivka Campus Chomesh began filling up with families eagerly anticipating the upcoming show. The first of its kind for Darchai Menachem was this musical, entitled: The Change In Time, which depicts the story of a modern-day teenager going back in time for an eye opening adventure.
The evening began with an introduction/performance from Mendy Pellin, host of the widely popular new weekly news cast. Amid a few jokes and a crowed rolling in laughter, Mendy spoke about how necessary it is for schools to recognize and fill the need of creative outlets for their students. He emphasized how the night's performance was one of those ways.

Dear residents of Crown Heights,I am a parent of Ka“h a large family.
My children have and are attending regular Lubavitch schools in Crown Heights and B”H are doing well. My son however, was not doing well in school. He was unhappy and did not enjoy going to school.
He found it hard to stay focused in class and found himself getting easily distracted in a large classroom setting. As a result, he kept himself busy doing “other things”. He found himself strolling the hallways and getting detention often.
