Largest LI Shluchim Summer Convention
Last week all of the Shluchim on Long Island gathered for their annual Kinus and Farbrengen. This year it was hosted at the Chabad of Mineola with Rabbi Anchelle Perl.
Highlighting the event was the announcement by the head Shliach, Rabbi Tuvia Teldon of the opening of the Chabad of Massapequa-The Babylon Branch, under the leadership of new Shluchim Rabbi & Mrs. Yona Eidelkopf.
An amazing Farbrengen was led by Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, following an in-depth seminar with Rabbi Zalman Leib Markowitz on the chinuch of our children.
An election was held for the local Long Island Vaad of Shluchim with words of greeting presented by Rabbi Pesach Goldman and the Siyum Hashas with Rabbi Zalman Wolowick of the 5Towns.
The arrangements committee was led by Rabbis Ilan Weinberg of Port Washington.
