LONDON, England [CHI] The Lubavitch Mikvah in London, under the directorship of Rabbi Levi Sudak, went up in flames this afternoon, after a fire broke out due to an electrical short. The fire is reported to have done extensive damage to the facility along with the Chabad Houses storage shed.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — An electrical fire broke out in the ceiling of a home on Eastern Parkway. The incident took place at around 9:00pm on Motzoai Shabbos inside of 821 Eastern Parkway between Kingston and Albany on the third floor.
The father of the household first noticed the fire while he was exercising when he smelled the acrid smell of smoke and quickly evacuated the entire house and called 911. FDNY arrived as flames and thick smoke was pouring out of the ceiling of the house and the quickly went to work on dousing the fire.
