The most recent incident happened this afternoon at around 2:15pm when an Israeli Bochur attempted to cross in the middle of the street near 770.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A pedestrian was truck and injured this morning as she crossed Empire Boulevard at the Brooklyn Avenue intersection. The incident took place at around 9:00am.

Shula is the daughter of a Rabbi Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov who work in the Tourisim outreach division of Tzerei Agudat Chabad in Israel, and grandparents Reb Leibel and Miriam Swerdlov in Crown Heights.
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Eastern Parkway was the scene of two accidents last night, Monday, one involving a motorcycle rider falling off and getting injured, while another was a crossing pedestrian that was struck by a passing van.
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] – Police arrested the driver that caused an accident involving three cars on suspicion of DUI. The incident occurred on Empire Boulevard between Schenectady and Troy Avenues, where one minivan rear ended an SUV which hit another SUV.

I-78, PA — Two 16-year-olds were injured this afternoon when another car reversed into them on a median on Interstate 78 in Williams Township this afternoon, according to state police at Belfast.
Police said Yakov Huebner, 18, of Brooklyn N.Y., pulled into the median at mile marker 75.9 on the westbound side of I-78 at 12:24 p.m. after hearing a noise coming from his car. The teens, a boy from Israel and a girl from Brooklyn, N.Y., who's names were not released due to their age, were outside the car also checking on the tire, police said.
The gaping hole left where the air conditioner came crashing through.

Shliach to Toms River NJ, Rabbi Moshe Gourarie narrowly escaped serious injuries when flames engulfed a box truck next to his mini-van. The trucks 70-gallon fuel tank exploded Friday after electrical wires from a downed pole fell on the vehicle during a storm.
WILLIAMSBURG — A car struck and killed a 9-year-old boy in Williamsburg Saturday morning, police say. According to authorities, the 54-year-old driver of a Honda Accord was making a turn onto Wallabout Street at around 8 a.m. when she plowed into the child. Police say it appears the 9-year-old may have run into traffic. He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he later died.

The officers were assigned to Transit Division 32 which are the officers that patrol the subway lines and platforms.

The incident took place at around 11:30pm and according to eye witnesses both cars, a BMW SUV and a Nissan sedan, were speeding and collided sending both of them into parked cars.
